I put on another pot, Lil' Bear, since I scarfed the last of that one. I have some fresh juice and some cocoa, milk and tea here too for anyone who is
interested. I made a batch of oatmeal cookies...

I love peanut butter cookies, chocolate chip all soft and moist, sugar cookies, sometimes I'm into almond nut cookies. Mmmmmmmm

I love hot chocolate.
I haven't had any yet though. I bought these really cool mugs from the store I work at yesterday.
They'll be great for hot chocolate, coffee or even soup! They're cool. I'm thinking my mom would like them so I'm considering asking her what
colors she'd like and buy a couple for her.

I bought Lyss a hot chocolate maker as an early Christmas present. It's made by Mister Coffee. You can just put water and your fave mix or milk and your
fave mix or you can use milk and chocolate syrup. Put whatever in the pitcher although it's all one piece machine and hit the button. It'll make up to
four cups in like 10 minutes. Once it gets to the correct temp (the machine is set already) it stops and you're all set.
She likes it cause she doesn't have to mix stuff in the mug. It has a disc at the bottom that mixes it for you. So no little clods of cocoa mix at the bottom of the mug which she don't like no way no how Plus it's not so hot it burns her mouth.
I was out with my mom looking for something for my dad. She saw it first and called me over and said "You have to get this for Lyss! If you don't I will!" So of course being the smart man I am I did. Best 20 bucks I've spent in a long time cause it made Lyss very happy. And I love a happy Lyssa

Yeah I thought so...although the way he gave it to me was kinda...well...he got to the apartment before I did...and when I got there he said he had a suprise
for me...but I had to close my eyes to get it...then he takes my hand and starts leading me down the hall toward our room (if I call his place our home then he
has to call my room here our room
)...naturally I start questioning just what kinda suprise he's got for me *laughing*...but he asked me to trust
him..and I do...so ...we get into our room...and he shuts the door...and then tells me to open my eyes...and the machine was sitting on the bed still in
the box ...
Gotta love that man... ...

...he's always doing stuff like that...but then he knows that little stuff like that makes me happy...I don't need a whole lot of fancy
things...takes too much time taking care of em...I like simple ...even if my life is far from it ...

Yeah I warned JL when we started dating that I am very low maintenence...I was never a girlygirl type growing up...something that drove my Mother sane many
times
...
Besides I like a guy who gets creative about things...like our first date...well our first official one since we met for coffee a couple days after we met the first time...he came to the door with some of my fave cookies and my weakness chocolate milk...he'd heard me and a friend (the girl who worked behind the counter at the gym) talking about this bread place...it's mostly bread but they do make some cookies and things of that nature...bread is their specialty though...anyway he'd heard us talking about this one cookie we both liked...and he'd heard that I liked chocolate milk...so he bought a dozen cookies and a gallon of chocolate milk...and gave me that instead of candy or flowers...I thought it was very original ...
Especially after I found out he'd learned both of these things the week before he met me...it took him a week to get up the courage to even talk to me...something that I still find shocking to this day ..

It's not that I have anything against girlygirl types..I don't...I was just never comfortable trying to be one..it was just more fun hanging out with
the guys
...plus dresses and Harleys don't mix too well ...
