Never had a favorite gymnast. Always had favorite ice skaters. (Winter Olympics obviously)

I LOOOOOVED Nancy Kerrigan growing up. Then I fell in love with ..... shoot, names aren't coming to me now.
 She was uh Japanese and one like 3 years
in a row or something. She was so elegant. There were two actually, the other tended to come in 2nd or 3rd place. I cant' remember all the names anymore,
there was a bald guy that had cancer, he was good.

First was Kristi Yamaguchi, then Michelle Kwan. I'm a huge fan of both of them.

Scott Hamilton is the one you're thinking about. He's only bald now...he used to have hair. I've always liked him. I'm also a fan of Elvis
Stoyko....I just love the fact that he skates in "jeans" (I'm sure they're very stretchy and comfortable, but they're styled to look like
Levis). He's another one who does back flips.
Did you or do you ever ice skate yourself? |

Yes, that's who I'm thinking of. Elvis is pretty good too but he wasn't a favorite of mine.
I did ice skate when I was younger. The first time I learned was at a little friend's party. They lived on a lake and her dad took the time to teach me. I was awesome at is. As I was much more limber at that age. I think I was 10ish maybe. I'd love to be good at it again. |

I can't skate, that's why they always made me goalie. Can you do that spin type thing? |

Did you actually skate on a frozen lake? (I've only skated in rinks...there aren't a lot of frozen lakes in San Diego.)

We get very little snow if any in SC. I miss the beauty of fresh snowfall but I don't miss how they always lasted too long.
